The piston pin is used in the diesel engine of XGC55 crawler crane (such as Cummins QSB6.7 or Shangchai SC7H series). By connecting the piston and the connecting rod, the burst pressure of the combustion chamber is converted into the rotating power of the crankshaft. Referring to the design of similar XCMG models, the floating fixing method is adopted (the piston pin can rotate freely in the pin seat and the small head of the connecting rod), which reduces friction loss and has a lifespan of about 8000-10000 hours.
